Through the intervention of a wood nymph and a wise scholar, the enchanting Belen can choose to live in any fairytale she chooses. Instead she chooses to leave her innocent world and confront the challenges of real life. Thus, she is magically transported to Villa Ciervo Dorado and becomes a cook in the run down orphanage operated by the Colonel. The townspeople believe the Colonel to be above reproach, but Belen knows better. She sees the mistreatment that the orphans endure causing them to be suspicious, unfriendly pranksters. Gaining their trust won’t be easy, but Belen dedicates herself to exposing the wrongdoing of the wicked Colonel and giving the orphans a better life.
